CITES is pleased to announce the partnership with the Assistive Technology Industry Association to offer the CITES Framework Development Districts access to the ATIA Learning Center.
These online education programs include live and recorded versions by national experts on a variety of topics across the spectrum of the assistive technology industry sectors. Online courses are 60 and 90 minutes in length. Complimentary CEUs are available for completion of these programs.
How Does It Work?

Step 1: Create a Profile or Sign In
Complete the Sign Up form with all of your information, including full name and email address. If you are an ASHA member and want to obtain ASHA CEUs, please include your ASHA membership number in your profile. If you already created a profile, sign in using your username and password.
Step 2: View the Learning Catalog to Select Online Courses
Browse the Learning Catalog for a complete list of available live and recorded courses. You can filter courses in the catalog by CEU type, experience level, and ATIA strand.
To learn more about a course, click on its listing in the catalog. Read about the course description, learning objectives, speaker bios, and available CEUs.
Add the course to your cart, then click on your cart to purchase and check out. Once in the cart, enter your subscription code in the promo code box and click apply. This will bring your balance to $0.00. Complete the purchase process.

Leadership: The following bundle of courses is suggested learning for education leaders. Leaders are defined as individuals who are guiding, facilitating, or supporting a local, district, or state team, or program focused on building capacity for accessible materials and accessible and assistive technologies.
Novice Educators: The following bundle of courses is suggested for learning for novice educators in the area of AEM and AT. Novice educators are individuals who are new to teaching, or new to the accessible materials and accessible and assistive technologies, and who would like to build knowledge and awareness of accessibility and supports available.
Experienced Educators: The following bundle of courses is suggested for learning for experienced educators in the area of accessible materials and accessible and assistive technologies. Experienced educators are those individuals who have a foundational understanding of accessibility, accessible educational materials, and assistive technologies. These educators are able to apply some of the fundamental skills of ensuring accessibility for all students in their planning process.
B/VI and D/HOH Educators: The following bundle of courses is suggested learning for teachers of students who are blind/visually impaired or deaf/hard of hearing (D/HOH). B/VI and D/HOH teachers work with students who have needs specific to how they acquire, interact, and respond to information due to an impairment to their vision or hearing.
